Adele has been an RN at Summit Medical Center for the past 25 years. She chaired the Professional Performance Committee for four years. This is a union driven committee which acts as a liaison between staff nurses and management. Her contributions to many non-profits provides her some insight into the health risks and hazards of the nursing profession.
Ms. Leporati believes that NCF can make a great contribution to the lives of children who have lost a parent in the nursing profession. A college education is the cornerstone of a person’s life. The dream of a college education is unthinkable for many who have lost a parent. Financial help to fulfill this dream is a great gift that can propel these children towards a better life for themselves, as well as their families.
