Sonya is a graduate of Grambling State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She worked in the Airline Industry for over 16 years, and has served as a member of the New Hope Baptist Church Board of Trustees for over 5years. She is a single mother of a 13 year old daughter; who has benefited from the generous financial contributions of organizations that assist students with achieving their educational dreams.
As a volunteer and Girl Scout Troop Leader, Ms. Terrell mentors and encourages young girls on becoming responsible leaders in their communities. She strongly believes that without organizations and institutions providing educational financial opportunities, we would lose many of our intelligent, talented and skillful future professionals.
